Hi Gaurav,

Please follow the steps below to run the diagnostics for the Webcam on the system.

1.       Open the link http://dell.to/11MXNII 

2.       Select ‘Hardware’ under ‘Choose a Diagnostic Type’.

3.       Select ‘Camera’ under ‘Diagnostic Selector’.

4.       Click on ‘Run Diagnostics’ button.

5.       Let me know the results.

Thank you for your response.

"A diagnostic category was specified and the applicable device does not exist."

Advise please.

Hi Gaurav,

The error indicates the webcam is faulty you may consider replacing it. Please click on the link below to check the warranty of the system. In case the system is under warranty, send me a private message with the system service tag to assist you further.  Please click on my name and click on 'Send a private message'.

If the system is out of warranty then you will need to contact our out of warranty department for repairs at 1-800-288-4410 (US only). Please let me know if you are from different region.

Hope you are doing well..!!

I wanted to check on the status of the webcam issue you've had with your computer. Was the issue resolved or does it still persist?

Please provide an update.
