Dell has not tested the system with Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 Operating system. Therefore the drivers are not available for the system.
Please share Network Hardware ID of the Network card installed on the system with us so that we can check out the missing device driver or compatible driver. Here are the steps:
Press the key combination Windows Logo key + X key to open Power User Menu.
Click on Device Manager.
Check if you see "?" or "!" in front of any device.
Select your Network device and right click on it.
Click Properties from the drop down list.
Click Details and then click Device description button to select Hardware Ids.
Share the Hardware Ids mentioned under Value.
The compatible driver may or may not work with the system.

Were is no any "!" or "?" in Device Manager.
