Hi creithnc,

As suggested by ieee488.you can go for Roxio Burning software. Also, there is feature available in Windows 7 or 8 to burn data, audio or video files onto the DVD. Windows DVD Maker is used for burning pictures and videos. You can burn data files by just inserting blank DVD in the optical drive and there should be a popup in the Windows to burn the files.
