wi fi installation problem

hi, i am using inspiron n4030 laptop. i can not install wi fi device in my laptop. when i tray to install this software in my laptop, it shows, 'no compatiable hardware is found' .i am using windows 7.please solve my problem.

What driver are you trying to install? Is it from the CD/DVD or from the Dell site? Also attach a snapshot of the device manager.

You could download the latest Wi-Fi driver from the below mentioned site.

Key in the service tag and the appropriate operating system to download the driver.

yes, i have downloaded it from dell site.   i can not find out the driver manager. how can i find it? when i tried to install  the wi fi device, it shows 'no compaitable hardware is found'

Hi partho0071,

Open ‘Device Manager' from 'Control Panel' -Or- just right-click on Computer Icon and choose 'Properties' and then click on 'Device Manager'.

Also please provide the system service tag through a private message and the operating system version (32/64 Bit).
