Hi Suchir,

I am sorry about the situation, please run the Dell PC diagnostics on soundcard using the link below.

In this link click on hardware >select soundcard and click on run diagnostics.

In addition please update the latest BIOS using the link below.

http://dell.to/183Ptds

Connect the Ac Adapter while updating the BIOS and do not use the system until it restarts after the update

Let me know about the progress.

Hi Senthil, Ran the PC doctor many times..

sometimes as long as 10 hours....

It does not go beyond gathering information..

dell system detect is running on my machine..

as far as the bios upgrade goes, it did not let me do that, saying you can not flash to existing version..

i removed the IDT drivers and restarted to see if windows default drivers work.. still the same thing..

I hear via Headphone... but computer speakers are not working...

:(
