Dell does not repair monitors or sell internal monitor components. We do not even have monitor repair/disassembly documentation. We simply replace them while under warranty. Do you have the issue when running the AW2310 Built-in Diagnostics? ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_electronics/esuprt_Display/dell-aw2310_User%27s%20Guide_en-us.pdf
If yes, it is defective. If not, look to the cabling or the video card as the culprit.

Yes it is defective, cause i cant even run the built in diagnostics, i see the osd i am hearing the beeps while i move through the menu options and after 2-4 secs the screen goes black , i can still hear the beeps, and then i have to turn it off and on again, and if i move real fast i can get the blue red screen then it goes black again....
i saw some other ppl having the same issues but their product was still under warranty, which is not my case....From i have read on the internet , the problem should be an inverter or an ccfl lamp....
I checked the faq about monitors but ... i have lost the contact with the guy that sold it to me and i think it is out of warranty ... so what can I do?

Have a local TV service center open it up. Maybe they can isolate the failure and find parts.
