nope still the same date sept 23rd.   Request to expedite the order was denied.  Hopefully it will ship next week.  

I ordered mine on August 31st and its in production with a est delivery of 10/8 I was like. The lady on the phone said it would ship on the 11th. All I ordered was a base 17 lol

yeah well looks like everyone ordered an Alienware 17.     They cant keep up with demand and delays seems to get worst everyday.  

They need to expand then. Over a month wait is too long :(

wow. really??? i just ordered on 6th Sept, and am going to fly abroad end of this month.so scary to see 1 month delivery time. where are you guys from????? i'm from Malaysia

Same here, but with an Inspiron 17.  One month is insane. I figured dell was up to their old shipping tricks, but after two weeks of waiting on a one month estimate, I'm calling and cancelling today.  You'd think if they couldn't get 17 inch screens, they wouldn't sell 17 inch laptops. After 10 years of purchasing tens of thousands of dollars of dell equipment, I'm done. I putting dell on the "do not buy" list, right next to hp.

Still waiting for my Alienware 17....   ordered on aug 26th expected delivery sept 23rd..... that's a really long time and this post is not very reassuring.  Whats going on with alienware???

I ordered mine on the 11th Aug and its only in Pre-Production!! Mine has the upgraded 780m. Got an estimated date for the end of sept. So if your thinking just a month, I've waited that long already and expecting longer :(

I made an order for alienware 17 the new edition on 29th August, and expected delivery date is 3rd October. The problem is, the deducted cash is refunded to my account, and the product is still under production. Can some one help me with this. Will I get my product deleivered, or should I order it again.

I live in Oregon. I was told there are parts shortage so yup..guess I'm really waiting till October 8th. Ordered mine August 31st est delivery October 8th. Dell called me and told me there is a part shortage.

6 business days before the delivery date,  still did not ship.     They allow 7 business days for shipping so im not expecting it to arrive by the promised date.  

supposed to ship 4 days ago, still nothing.  

WOW my order was delayed an other 4 weeks to oct 15th!   NO ONE notified me, i had to ask someone in the chat!

I was called my order is finalizing and its getting ready to ship to the US to dell to ship to me? So I guess even though alienware is located in Florida they make their laptops out of country...
