It's time to call Dell for a replacement of the system ( if it's less than 21 days from shipment) or a warranty repair (if it's more than 21 days since it shipped).

Hi. I bought in April a new Dell Inspiron 15R-5537 laptop from Amazon.

It worked fine. After a good and correct shutdown, now suddenly the machine dont want to start up. No leds and nothing. Even with the power cord connected. I have told to disconnect the battery and power cable. And then hold down the power button for at least 20 seconds. and the reconnect battery and power cable. and restartt. Nothing helps. It' s dead. Any other way to get this thing up?

Thanks

Glenn

Hi there

Is unfortunate that your laptop stop functioning, therefore I suggest that you should opt for warranty repair.

My previous laptop has the same issue as yours(Could not boot up even though the LEDS are flashing). I send to a technician and found out there is motherboard failure :) So I opt for the replacement of the laptop.
