How do I contact the returns department?

I purchased a Dell Inspiron 17R two weeks ago.  Over the weekend QVC was selling a similar laptop with lifetime tech support and lifetime McAfee so I purchased that one figuring that I could return the Inspiron based on all the info on the Dell website.  Imagine my surprise when I found out that none of the links on the Dell website actually connect you with a person who can help you return a product. Every link on the Dell website that supposedly connects to a way to return a product actually leads to dead links or nonexistent links.  I have used the customer support toll free line multiple times and have been placed on multiple holds that have been at least 1 to 2 hours in length with no interaction with a real live person. I can find no phone numbers that connect to the returns department.  Chats with sales end up with them giving me the same phone number I have been calling. They have no way of connecting me to anyone who can help.  I wanted a manager but I guess there are no managers available to help with a customer issue. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get a return authorization number???
