Try releasing the static power and check if the system is working. Follow the steps below.
Switch off the system; remove the battery, ac adapter and the power cable. Press and hold down the power button for thirty seconds to drain any excess static power. Also shut down the computer and then run the hardware diagnostics, follow the steps below.
Press the Fn + power this will initiate the hardware diagnostics. Let us know if there is any error code listed.

Connect the Ac Adapter before updating the BIOS and do not use the system until it restarts after the update.
In addition run the Dell PC diagnostics on battery using the link below.

In this link click on hardware >select battery and click on run diagnostics. Please let me know the time duration when the battery is draining out.

Hi Sir,
Thanks for your replying.. As u suggest above i updated BIOS and I run the PC diagnostics on battery. It shows there is no Errors during the scan...
