1. These cards do not supply power, so you'll need externally powered device or a USB 3.0 hub for all but the lowest-power devices (mice, etc.).
2. You will quickly learn there are limits to XP after April 9 -- a lot of banks, financial institutions, businesses, etc., will block access to their secure website by XP-based systems. Even if you're not concerned about security (you should be, though), these sites will be and they will begin blocking XP systems in large numbers after April 9.

Should work with two things to consider:
