VOSTRO 3350 mSATA SSD question

Hi,

Can I insert an mSATA SSD into the mini-PCI WWAN socket of the Vostro 3350 in order to run the WIN7 from it? If yes, then which SSD types are proposed?

There is already an open thread from 2011 on this question but it has not been clearly answered since that. Has anyone got experience on this issue meanwhile?

The only type of SSD drive your system will take is a 2.5" SSD that replaces your hard drive.  The system does not have mSATA support.

Thank you for this info. At least it has been clarified after 3 years...
