Most LCD monitors are not as fast as most CRTs with respect to gaming. With LCD's one of the most important specs. is the pixel response time. Any LCD with a pixel response time of 16 ms, or less should have near or equal performance as a CRT. The problem is LCD panels with a 16 ms reposnse time are expensive and even rare. For example I think Dell only has the 2001FP that has a 16 ms response time, but don't quote me on that.
