   Don't believe everything you read. Especially on the internet! However, in this case what you read may be right. Most LCD monitors are not as fast as most CRTs with respect to gaming. With LCD's one of the most important specs. is the pixel response time. Any LCD with a pixel response time of 16 ms, or less should have near or equal performance as a CRT. The problem is LCD panels with a 16 ms reposnse time are expensive and even rare. For example I think Dell only has the 2001FP that has a 16 ms response time, but don't quote me on that.

The Viewsonic VP-171b has a 16ms response time. Check into it...
