Hi,

I've followed the suggested steps and unfortunately it has made no difference.

Hi,

It stopped working around the same time I upgraded to windows 8.1 from windows 8, which was a few months ago now.

It was working on windows 8 perfectly fine, it was also working on my windows 7 partition before the upgrade.

I have tried multiple cables and monitors. It always does the same thing, it recognises that the cable is connected but has no video output (I have changed the display settings to determine if the resolution was an issue, but no success).

I am unable to send a private message as no matches can be found in the recipients

Hi,

Please try installing driver from manufacturer website.
click here to download the driver: http://www2.ati.com/drivers/mobile/14-4-mobility-win7-win8-win8.1-64-dd-ccc-whql.exe

Please uninstall the drivers completely before you install driver.

Let me know if this helped.

Hello!

Can it be verified that the driver (un)installation will work? Previously, for me at least, uninstalling AMD drivers either broke startup process, CCC did not start after Windows startup or Intel drivers got broken (control panel did not open).

I am currently running driver version 13.151.0.0 provided by Dell, and would like to update, but only if I can be certain that nothing gets broken again.

Hi,

Since you have tried all the possible steps as a final option i would suggest you to back up the data from your computer and do factory restore.
Please click here to know about windows 8 factory restore: http://dell.to/1u0NJHN
