Power issues inspiron 1764

Question

Mine laptop wont power on normally. The issue is when i hit the power button. I can head the optical drive starting . But i got no screen or power led. I there are also non BIOS beeps. Already swapped memory hdd ect. The issue startend after chaning thermal paste on the CPU. Can it be the thermaal pad on the gpu? Or somthing else.

Re-trace your reassembly to make sure everything is properly connected.  Is there an image on an external screen?

All parts are connected fine. Also there is no image on external screen.
