Hi jcpittman,

I would suggest that you run the diagnostics on the computer after the above steps by following the steps mentioned in the video below and check if there is any issue with the hardware on your system.

Also, I would suggest you to try flashing the BIOS on the system. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the operating system, and then download the BIOS from the BIOS section onto the system and install it.

Please let me know the findings.

I did the diagnostics test and it came up clean and then I updated the BIOS and so far it hasn't shut off. If it doesn't for a day or two i will let you know.

Update: MY computer has turned off twice within 20 minutes. There's not one specific application that i run when it turns off and sometimes i will be putting stress on the ram and it stays on. I want to take apart my computer to look at the fan and the power supply connection but i took the back out and took out the memory and got scared so i put it back together.

Hi jcpittman,

We need to check if the issue is caused due to any application installed on the system. So please clean boot the system using the link below and check if the issue reoccurs.

Hey, I haven't been on my computer for the last couple days, today it gave me a blue screen that said: DRIVER_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (Smd_driver_Intel.sms) What does that mean. I saw that i need to uninstall something but intel is all over my computer and dont know what one to get rid of.
