* Get the monitor exchanged. Go back to the top of this Monitor Forum
* Open "FAQ Monitor"
* Open "Monitor warranties and replacement instructions"
* Read the paragraph:
24" and smaller Dell monitors purchased from resellers (CostCo, Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, Buy.com, online store, etc.)

Hi Chris,

I've read through all the information and have contacted the seller but I am unable to gain the required information for the warranty.

Is there any way it can be done on the monitors serial number and production date instead? Surely as it can be proven that it is only 18 months old it should be covered?

Also how am I meant to email or use the online chat function without a service tag/code?

Cheers

* Why not? What did the reseller say when you asked?

* Call Dell UK Order Support directly 0844-444-4712, 0844-444-5818. See what they say.

* Just call in.
