hi, im having the same problem with my 3148. Having difficulties in Chrome browser, keyboard key "a" and number "1" never worked. Tried opening IE and keep pressing the buttons then its back working. Is this somekind of manufacturing defect? should I send this back to the seller? thanks
"Also, I am seeing chinese characters on my screen in the top left-hand side sometimes in my web browser, they appear over top of other script or images and most often over top of my address bar and tabs. Rebooting when they appear seems to get rid of them but this occurs daily. Is this a problem with my browser? or laptop? should I try un-installing firefox or could this be another problem?"
No sorry, I tried un-installing and re-installing Firefox but it did not fix the problem. It doesn't happen in any other browser (IE or Google Chrome etc.) so I am assuming it is a Firefox problem. Only thing that works is closing the browser and re-opening it. Sorry, let me know if you figure it out though, it's very annoying. Cheers!
Even I have exact same problem. key "a" and number "1" gives me problem on my Dell 3148. I have to press many times to make it work. I am surprised to see anyone else having same problem. Also wifi stops working in between quite often while my phone and Ipad on same router work fine. Really disappointed with this model. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
