Dell Venue 8 Pro replacement screen: back to front touch input
So, I broke my touchscreen. Bought a replacement one from some random vendor on Aliexpress. Broke the LCD display separating them. Bought a replacement LCD display from the same source. The touchscreen glass records the input in the opposite side of the screen on one axis. Bother!
Does anyone know of a way of calibrating the touchscreen to compensate? Or a place where I can buy another, and it's not actually a "factory second" and will actually function correctly!?

Have you tried reflashing the touch firmware?

Yup. Finally got a USB OTG cable, hooked up a HTPC keyboard to it, updated the firmware... and still the x-axis touch input (in portrait orientation) is swapped. Help!
