Something else i would like to state is that my monitor also has the problem when i connect mini dp cable!What to do about this?Is there any chance what they will fix it somehow?
-Dell display manager many times cant recognize the monitor and freezes the cursor!Needs to remove the the power cable...
-If i switch off the monitor then goes for a "deep sleep"!Needs to remove the cable!
This is not only annoying but is also dangerous for the monitor and the person!
The other problem is that i cant register my monitor with the service tag or something else into Dell's products and services homepage!So i cant use any advantages from these services...What u suggest me to do?I spoke with Dell in Greece but they cant find either!Is that possible that monitor has service tag etc and is not visible to anyone?How i am sure about the warranty that Dell offers!To keep order number and Receipt for 3 years is not an option for me because one reason that i chose Dell is warranty status!
We do not fix monitors, we simply exchange them using your Dell order number. That is IF you purchased the monitor directly from Dell. Read this.
No, it is not dangerous, just cumbersome. Be sure that the DP cable and USB cable are fully inserted into both the computer and the monitor. Remove DDM, restart the computer when done, reinstall DDM.
No, you cannot "register" a 24" monitor because it does not have a service tag number. It is registered to you when you buy it directly from Dell. Only the 27" and larger monitors received a service tag number.
