It works just fine for me ... I suspect it is probably an issue with your mouse or its settings.  Do you have any add-ons or extensions installed in Chrome?

The only extension is Adblock Plus 1.8.5.

More on the setups:

Win 7 Pro, generic Microsoft wireless mouse (middle click broken)

Win 7 HP, generic Microsoft wireless mouse (middle click broken)

Win 7 Ultimate, EVGA wired mouse (middle click broken)

--Win 7 Ultimate XP mode, EVGA wired mouse (middle click works)

Win 8.1, SteelSeries wired mouse (middle click works)

Noodling around on the Dell forums, the Idea Storm section works correctly. The Idea Storm section appears to use the pre-update styles.

Every other non-Dell web page works correctly with Win 7.

For whatever reason, Win 7 and Chrome do not interact well with the forum updates for me.

It could be something on my end.

They completely destroyed the forums after the last update, so if that is what you are referring to, it will probably go away if and when it ever gets fixed ... but on my Windows 7x64 with the latest version of Chrome, I didn't see what you described.  Maybe I'll try AdBlock Plus as a test (I otherwise never use add-ons).

The middle mouse button opens all links in a new tab.

I am experiencing this same thing and a lot more issues--but only on Dell Customer Forums; not any other types of online activities, searches, etc. and not any other Customer Forums--only Dell.  I am pretty sure their entire Customer, Website, Pages, etc. are malfunctioning. Further, yet--I have been reading the other posts and I have all the same problems listed by countless other Dell Customers with all of the Dell software:  Dell Concierge--this includes Dell Backup and Recovery, The Dell Concierge Tool, itself (the icon is a silver bell--such as once would have been used to summon a bellboy and/or get service at a counter) is completely malfunctioning.  I won't type in all the remaining Dell software that malfunctions. That would take to long.

This thread is not about Dell client software; it is about their website/forum behavior only.  There are other threads and forums for addressing issues with specific Dell client software, like DBAR, Concierge, etc..  I have not noticed anything out of place with Dell.com or the Community, and some of the previous forum software screw-ups were fixed by the vendor.  So, what are your specific issues?
