Hi,

Have you deleted all the wifi profiles on that system and tried to connect to your router again?  Perhaps allowing Windows (and your driver) to recreate the connection to the router will help clear up any corruption in the profile. With the lack of connection on initial startup, that could mean that the software communication between the system and router is corrupted.

Have you tried the AW17 on other routers / wireless networks?  Are you seeing the same results with the connection?  And when you updated drivers on the system did you remove previous driver versions completely to make sure you get a clean driver install?

What type (brand and model) of router are you using?  Have you tried updating the firmware on that router?

You might want to try the suggestions above plus take a look at the Dell Networking & Wireless Support Center.   There are some other troubleshooting steps you can try in that article that might be of help.

Let me know what you try and what you find out.  Hopefully deleting the wireless profiles will do the trick.

Todd
