Not likely to get fixed right away, you have to consider how long it took Dell to release 5.0.2, most likely will be sometime before they release another patch or update. Dell does have other tablet users that are still waiting to get any type of update.
I do understand that, however I also know that in the current state of Lollipop, I would be better off with KitKat, a statement that likely holds true for the other DELL tablets as well.
Is there a way to downgrade back to KitKat as a sort of stop-gap fix?
[edit] From my perspective, in it it's current form, this tablet is barely usable. I can't have something that constantly crashes.
Have you tried clearing the case cache on the apps that are causing the freezing. I haven't experienced any freezes which makes me think it's app related
Odd, for some reason I can't make it crash now. Perhaps it was the combination of cache clearing and restarting. Or perhaps it knows I'm hoping for it to crash. I hasd a computer that was contrary like that.
It could be app related, but its an awful lot of apps that seem to be having the problem. I'm getting freezing/crashing with Pocket, Kindle, and Yahoo mail. Yes. I have Yahoo mail.
I cleared my cache for My DELL but it is still crashing every time I try to post in the forums. Interestingly, the music I was streaming from device to Bluetooth speakers kept playing. I'm going to make this crash again and see if it can play through an entire album. Do know that all device input locked up, and this bug is 100% reproducible in My DELL. It occurs in other apps, but not at a 100% rate.
