OK thanks.  At the risk of sounding ignorant, how do I do a system restore?

Thank you.

Hello,

Please check the power option settings.

Install the latest BIOS and video drivers.

Or the quicker solution which might work is to do a system restore to the date when the sleep option was working fine.

:).

Go to search box, and type in system restore.

Open the system restore option-click on next-select the appropriate date-and chose next-finish-.

You will get a prompt, ignore and click on OK. System will restart during this process.

***Below steps are from microsoft :) ***

To restore your PC to an earlier point in time

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then clickSearch.)

  2. Enter Control Panel in the search box, and tap or click Control Panel.

  3. Enter Recovery in the Control Panel search box, and then tap or click Recovery.

  4. Tap or click Open System Restore, and then follow the instructions.

    Regards
