MSRT question
Ran Full scan with MSRT rather than a Quick scan. It took almost 12 hours. (Win 7 Pro, 32-bit).
Checked during the night and it showed 1 infected file found. When I came back this AM, it was done and I clicked the link to see more info. It showed a list of malware scanned, all marked as "not infected".
Nowhere did it tell me what the infected file was or what MSRT did about it. Does anyone know if / where MSRT stores a log file? Can I assume it removed whatever file was infected, without having to run another full scan?
MSRT Quick scans didn't detect any infections on this system before the Full scan and Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware didn't report anything before the Full MSRT scan.
Don't suspect an infection, but having issue with delays before the onboard NIC connects to the internet after booting, so just trying to rule out all possible causes for that problem, since none of the other "fixes" solved the problem. And running full MSRT scan didn't fix it either. :emotion-7:

It should generate a file named MRT.LOG , which should be found in your C:\Windows\debug directory. The file is a cumulative record, so scroll down to the end for the most recent information.

OK thanks, I found it - thanks.
Entry for last night's scan says 0 (0x0) which means nothing found. So why did it show "infected files: 1" on the screen while it was actually running the scan?
