Battery Light Flashing between 1 White Light & 1 Orange Light
Hi,
I have a Inspiron 5720. A few minutes ago, my Dell just turned off and when I tried to reboot it, I noticed the battery lights were flashing between 1 white and 1 orange light.
The laptop doesn't really turn on... the keyboard lights turn on... it sounds like the computer fans are running... but the monitor doesn't turn on... the battery lights continue to flash.
What does this mean? I'm hoping the battery needs to be replaced.

Remove the battery - if the system will power up without it, on AC only, the battery is indeed likely bad and needs replacement. If the system won't power up without the battery, it's the system board that's bad.
