Dell Latitude E6420 Network Issue (if remove battery & Plug in back )

Question

Hi Dell Team, I have a Dell Latitude E6420.Core I5-2.50GHz , i have re-formatted and re-install the OS after installing the OS win 7 Pro i have install all the drivers one by one and restarted each time i install an driver, after installing all the drivers accordingly i proceed for windows updates and once windows updates completes i check on the device manager all the drivers were installed , After all the updates and drivers were installed , i shutdown my laptop and remove the battery and i plug in back and  i start my windows normally  , but when i check my device manager the network lan driver show an yellow exclamation mark on it , and it doesn't work , i try restart and the driver installed back , but once i shutdown and remove the battery and put back and on it, it show yellow exclamation mark, another note  when i remove the battery and put back and on it , there only network lan driver only showing the exclamation mark on, other drivers are fine Tested with WIN 7 PRO 32/64 Bit and even updated the bios version to A21 still the same issue Kindly advise me on what can be done to resolve this issue? Any hardware or software changes sometimes might impact the drivers. We would like to know the reason why do you remove the battery from your system. Are you facing any other issues on your system? Hi Promila,

Thanks for your feedback , the reason why i remove the battery is i was doing a testing on the laptop

to make sure the system works in good condition before deliver to my client, i have try removing the battery with another same model and i found no issue with the drivers , so i wondering why only this unit having

an issue when i remove the battery

Hi Bernard_RW, Once you download the  lan driver, right click on the downloaded exe file and run it as an administrator. Keep us updated if this resolves the issue.
