I have reached out to Dell and still no resolution. They said they would work on it once they were notified of an issue. I told them I was notifying them and if they reviewed the forums they would see I am not the only person having the issue :emotion-12:
As part of the upgrade to Windows 10, the process informed me that the Cypress Trackpad software would have to be uninstalled because it was not compatible with Windows 10. I did that, and the Windows 10 upgrade completed without issue. The only downside here is that the trackpad is now completely non-functional. Without a USB mouse, I would have a useless PC.
Same here as well. At one point in my efforts I tried to upgrade the software, Windows 10 suggested synaptics - but that caused the trackpad to be completely non-functional.
Same problem here, tried installing a couple of older versions as suggested in other posts with no joy :-( anyone from Dell actually looking at this please? Peter

Same issue with the Cypress trackpad and Windows 10 (pro edition).
Your description of the issue is very accurate.
I have a Dell XPS13 (2012 model).

Same issue here on XPS 13 L321X. There needs to be another driver update so the track pad stops disappearing at random.
