U2715H video in ports = HDMI/HDMI/DP/mDPU2715H video out port = DP
2209WA video in ports = DVI/VGA
You cannot daisy chain the 2209WA to the U2715H because the 2209WA does not have DP.
What video out ports are on the (not tested by Dell) MacBook Pro?

Can i use an adapter: DVI > DP?

No, the source DVI would not work. The 2209WA will not work. You would need a second monitor that had DP or mDP. You can only setup like this for now =
