I lost the charger for my laptop. In trying to identify a replacement I noticed the receptacle on the side of the laptop is unlike any I have seen before.
My thoughts are that something got stuck in there, or there is an unusual plug on the charger.
Does this series have a special plug, and what should I order to get the right one?
Thanks
Mark
It's a Dell PA-12 AC adapter.
Nothing unusual about it.
Easily purchased on eBay for $20.
Just make sure that you are buying a genuine Dell.
I have bought dozens of AC adapters on eBay and never had problem with any.
I am ordering a replacement, but still think something is wrong with the receptacle on the laptop. Guess I will find out when the replacement get here.
