If you keep your motherboard you have no problem switching other components such as SSD.
Your system is already a Windows 10 Pro Device.
During clean installation with Windows 10 Pro TH2 installation media your Windows 8.1 Pro OEM key will be automatically input from the UEFI BIOS and Windows 10 Pro TH2 will automatically reactivate when your systems online.

I have successfully upgraded my XPS 15. I now have a way-better wireless and much faster system.
