The mDP to DP cable provided with the P2715Q might fit the TB3 port. So I would test the hardware setup like this = 15-R2 TB3 out --> P2715Q mDP to DP cable --> P2715Q DP in 3840x2160 30Hz/60Hz
If you have an HDMI to HDMI cable on hand to see if it works = 15-R2 HDMI out --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> P2715Q HDMI in 1920x1200 60Hz
