Optiplex 780, locks up at Dell logo
Dear Sir(s),
I have a Dell Desktop Optiplex 780 Series, using a 3/4 Years. But suddenly today after switching power the Monitor display ONLY dell Optiplex 780 Series LOGO. It does not run next step for Operating system. I am in trouble.

I really haven't had this issue with my dell OptiPlex 780 which I bought when it was new though you may be in trouble. If you've flashed any rom's to the bios they might have not installed correctly so you'd need to contact dell. Now, if the dell logo stays and the bar moves very slowly then you might have disabled quickboot in system setup meaning your computer might be doing a full boot and taking forever. lastly if this is not the case press F12 while you see the del logo then your machine should beep and you'll see some options select your hard disk and the machine shall boot.
