Use these to remove Malware (Virus, Spyware and Adware).

First :-
Spybot S&D and Ad-aware using the settings and links provided
Here

Failing those solving your problems a post of a hijackthis log for the experts to advise.
HijackThis From Here
or one of these other links:-
http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip
http://www.aluriasoftware.com/tools/hijackthis.zip
http://mjc1.com/mirror/hjt/

Important: Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it HJT. Unzip HijackThis into this folder. (See this link for graphical instructions)
Then run, scan, save log, then in notepad copy the FULL log by copy and paste as a reply to this post and an expert with HijackThis Knowldge, will have a go at giving advice. A lot of posters make mistakes here in copying and pasting so reread the left info sidebar called Copy and Paste
Please note the list of experts names below, very few forum regulars here have had this training.

DO NOT FIX ANYTHING WITH HIJACKTHIS WITHOUT EXPERT ADVICE
, most of what it finds you need for normal MS Windows tasks.

Known Spyware HijackThis fighters in DellTalk - If you are, and are not on the list please PM Me.

lalston,

You need to follow the third step in  ChrisRLG's reply. It begins with...

"Failing those solving your problems a post of a hijackthis log for the experts to advise."

Important: Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it HJT.
Unzip HijackThis into this folder. When you run HijackThis from this folder and have it "Fixed checked" it will create a backup file of modifications to use if restore is necessary. Please delete the old copy (including the zip copy) so it can't be used.
=====================================
Check these in hijackthis, AND WITH ALL OTHER WINDOWS CLOSED, fix checked.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AutoUpdater] "C:\Program Files\AutoUpdate\AutoUpdate.exe"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [EY01K] C:\WINDOWS\System32\EY01K.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SDARTM] C:\WINDOWS\System32\SDARTM.exe

These need to go.

Go here http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.zip

Download the killbox, unzip to the desktop (drag the folder out of the zip to the desktop)

Open that folder and use the KILLBOX.exe program.

Then copy those filenames (with the path) into the box, and select 'KillFile' one at a time.

Reboot to safe mode (F8 at boot time) and delete the whole folder
C:\Program Files\AutoUpdate\

then reboot and post a fresh hijackthis log please.

They morphed to new names

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dbcinsto] C:\WINDOWS\System32\dbcinsto.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MANDLGU] C:\WINDOWS\System32\MANDLGU.exe

What you should now do - run a new hijackthis log, after a reboot, and post as a reply here.

Then DO NOT REBOOT YOUR MACHINE unless told by me or Texruss.

We will then advise how to remove those two files.

They are doing to things apart from giving popups etc.
They are guarding each other, touch one and the other responds to put a new version back.
They are also possiblu changing names at eash reboot.

So post that log, and leave the machine running.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [xdiagnd] C:\WINDOWS\System32\xdiagnd.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [LSI] C:\WINDOWS\System32\LSI.exe

Those are the two lines and the file names currently in use.

As you have the Kill box you should use that to delete those two files - then in hijackthis check those lines, and with all other windows closed, fix checked.

Reboot and post a fresh hijackthis log please.

If that does not work, we will need you to run hijackthis in safe mode - find the new names your self and use killbox again and fix with hijackthis again.
The new lines in hijackthis should be obvious as they will not have been in the previous ones.
