Does the system overheat and turn off automatically / freeze?
If you have updated the BIOS and video drivers, then download the service manual - http://dell.to/28YPBBc- and clean the air vents and the fan assembly with a small vacuum cleaner or a can of compressed air for any dust accumulated and apply the thermal grease for the heatsink. This should help reduce the overheating.
If the issue is not resolved, then you would need to replace the fan assembly.
If there is no warranty, then you could contact our team to get a quote for a paid service call - http://dell.to/1vnT6CQ
Write me a private conversation with the service tag and your contact details(Name and Email) for case records.
This is laptop with bad design in my opinion. I was bought 3x second-hand 6430u and all of them have problems with high speed and loudly fans. Unfortunately i get this information after deal was done and after checking just buyed laptops. I was trust Dell so they making high quality laptops especially LATITUDE line. Unfortunately i was lost my money - noise level coming from 6430u is unacceptable. Nothing can help - only buy another computer...
And Mr DELL-RISHI, please - don't ask about paid service call - it doesn't help.
