(New) Dell Inspiron Having Issues

Hello.

On 6/2/16 I purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1. Just tonight, for some odd reason, it wouldn't turn on at all. It wasn't dead. I had used it throughout the day without any problems (except my wifi saying there weren't any available networks, so I had to restart it which fixed that issue). Don't think they're related, but just putting that out there.

Anyways, after about 20 minutes trying to turn it on, it finally turned out. It was about 50% charged. I take very good care of this laptop and I'm a bit annoyed this happened. Considering I got this not even a month ago, what could cause this? I paid an additional charge for the 2 year warranty, specifically for reasons like this. Should I take it in and have someone check it out, or was this a minor annoyance? Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for writing to us!

This could be either a software or a hard ware issue.

We would suggest you check if there are any pending updated on the system.Ensure all the drivers are updated and there are no yellow exclamation marks in the device manager.

Also run a complete diagnostics on the system to check if there are any hardware issues.

Kindly private message the service tag and email address.

Thanks

Ran diagnostics - no problems were detected. As for it potentially being software related, I'm not sure how to check that out.
