Inspiron 660 PSU upgrade

Hi, I am looking to upgrade the power supply unit on my Inspiron 660 (the normal one, not the slim). At the moment, I have the 300w one it came in. Last year, I bought the EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti SC so I could play games on higher settings. However, my computer continuously made a great deal of noise and shut down, so I had to take it out. From what I read, the GPU I bought was compatible with low watt PSUs, but I guess mine simply couldn't handle it. Therefore, I have been looking for new a PSU that can easily handle it as I might upgrade the GPU again in the future. At the moment, Amazon is having some pretty sweet sales and I was specifically eyeing the EVGA 700 B1, 80+ Bronze 700W. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea how to check the compatibility. Any advice or feedback would be appreciated. Thank you!

You could run a 500w power supply in the Inspiron 660 tower. It may be overkill since the card you mentioned will work with the stock PS.

Recommended upgrade PSU is EVGA Super Nova 750 B1 or G1

EVGA Super nova 700B1 or 750B1 works fine.

B2 and G2 series do not.
