Inspiron 15R 7520 upgrade wifi card to 5Ghz

Question

I have a new router Wi-Fi 600 Mbps on 2.4 GHz + 1300 Mbps on 5 GHz and wondering whether it is worth upgrading my laptop wifi card Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230 Any idea which internal card I could upgrade to? I have looked at external USB cards but none of these seem to be significantly faster than the 300Mbps of the existing card. Or am I comparing apples with pears? And would an external card conflict with the current internal card wifi / bluetooth. Does anyone have any experience of upgrading to 5Ghz on this laptop and whether it was worth the effort.
