Personally, I do not update any bios versions unless i am having issues with something the BIOS can fix. The bios version that is listed on the Dell website for this computer fixes the issue below.

Do you know if Turbo Boost issue was fixes where after putting laptop on standby and waking it up the feature no longer worked until next laptop restart? Actually I did upgrade to version 1.07 I think but it was motherboard that I had to replace. The patch did not fix the issue at that time.
I also have strange behavior when Turbo Boost is working after startup, before standby. Scrolling and moving panels feels laggy and any animations until I click and hold left mouse button while I try to resize window. The performance is not laggy that causes delays but if I would refer to video gaming, I would say it it's low FPS.
