U2715H, Power Indicator Blinks Non-Stop when Computer Is in Sleep Mode

Question

My U2715H monitor is attached to a Mac Mini.  When the Mac Mini goes to sleep, the power indicator light on the U2715H would start to blink non-stop.  This is really annoying.  Is there a way to disable this blinking behavior?

I see nothing in the User's Guide pertaining to disabling the blinking when the monitor enters Power Save Mode.
