TV Out with Intel 82845G on Inspirion 1100 Video Out

I read the FAQ and I searched but I cannot find the answer to my question.   I own a Inspirion 1100 with the Intel 82845G Chipset and cannot get the video out to work correctly.  I had the old driver it had an option for Notebook and TV, but just downloaded the newest Intel driver and it only allows Notebook or TV.  Which isn't a big deal, but I cannot get video out to work correctly.  I cannot get the overlay out of my PowerDVD to show up on the TV, I just get a replicated computer screen on my TV, which is a low resolution deal.  I've searched and cannot find detailed instructions.
