hard drive password

can someone please help me solve this problem, my laptop Dell Latitude E7440 is showing me  Hard-drive #***W3NOLJQF-1F66, the system internal HDD-1, is protected by password authentication system. you cannot access data on this hard drive without the correct password. please type in the hard drive password.

There are two different parts to this.

If you own the system and can verify your ownership, call Dell - they will unlock the CMOS portion of the password.

This WILL NOT remove the password from the drive.  If you don't need the data on the drive, once the CMOS is unlocked, the cheapest way forward is to replace the drive.

If you need the data on the drive, it will need to be sent to a hard drive recovery service with the tools required to unlock the drive.   The password is stored in a user-inaccessible portion of the drive that only specialist tools can access.
