Studio 1558 - restore ISO for Windows 7 needed
Hi,
I need to do a full OS reinstall for my Studio 1558 to Windows 7, but have lost the CDs that came with it. Looking at the Dell support pages, that ISO is no longer available. Is there any way that I can get hold of them? I have the licence key (it's on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop), so don't need to worry about that.

Or as long as you have the product key that came with your system, you could download a Windows 7 ISO file directly from Microsoft and then either burn it to disc or use it to prepare a bootable USB flash drive that will install Windows: www.microsoft.com/.../windows7

You could purchase a recovery media from Dell out of warranty dept.
Expired Warranty Hardware Support
Or.....
Purchase a recovery media from a third party such as Amazon, Ebay or Restore disks.
