OptiPlex 390 supporting windows 10

Kid1

I have had windows 10 running on my OptiPlex 390 for a while. however, I crashed my machine and could not get it to upgrade again. I want to buy a windows 10 disk copy and download it from that. will that work.??

When you got 10 working initially, did you activate it? If so, you can download the Windows 10 ISO for free from Microsoft, and skip the portion asking for a Windows key. I am not sure if this will fix the issue you have, but it might save you from buying another copy.

Best regards,

Brad

I activated it, like always and it ran fine. What I am getting from everyone is that it will not support windows 10 and I know better because windows 10 first came out I downloaded and it ran. I had a problem when I crashed my computer and tried to reinstall. It takes so long to download that I run out of GB on my internet provided  I only have 5GB of data on my hotspot and it runs out before the downloads

That is why I was thinking I could buy a disk and downloaded from there and save my GB's from my hotspots?
