Inspiron 620, Video card and PSU upgrades?
Hi, I have an Inspiron 620 currently fitted with AMD Radeon HD6450 video card with 1024mb memory and PSU L300-00 rated as 300W max.
I wish to upgrade the video card to something with more memory as it struggles when editing my videos.
Can you please advise on what can be acheived with my machine.
Regards, Terry

You cant use the longer card with 2 fans or the SC unit as it will overload the power supply.
The Straight 750TI says 300W power supply is fine.

Hi, thanks for that info it was much appreciated, however the spec for the card is Minimum 300w and the Total Power Draw is 60w. My PSU is max is 300w and I'm not sure it will will take the load. Is there an alternative PSU I can fit to increase from 300w to say 500w

The slot in the 620 will not take the FTW card and the power supply does not have enough power.
The Non overclocked 750 TI works fine without needing a bigger power supply.
EVGA Super nova B1 110-B1-0750-VR works but B2 and G2 do not.
