Was hoping for something more definitive. I’d hate to buy the Samsung 850 EVO 512GB and have it be only SATA-II or not even fit. It should just be an SATA connection to the built in SATA controller and that is SATA-III for the hard drive bay but some SATA controllers will give some SATA-III and some SATA-II connections. So….???

The 850 EVO worked at SATA-III speed by the way. Around 450MB/s
