Latitude 7202 Rugged Active Stylus not working

Question

Backstory: Tablet was purchased with Active stylus accessory and it worked OK. Original active stylus was lost... I have now bought 2 additional 7202 active stylus and neither one of them work.  Did something happen to the screen? How do I troubleshoot this?

I bought a brand new 7202 Rugged with the active stylus option.  The active stylus does not work.   I have 2x like-new Dell 7202 Rugged Extreme tablets that the pen does not work.  Nothing helps.
