S2716DGR, ignores windows Power Options, updating Nvidia driver corrected the issue

I'm having trouble with my S2716DGr. When leave the system idle for 60 seconds, it goes into sleep mode, even though my power options don't have the computer go to sleep until 30 minutes. This is very frustrating when I'm trying to read something. I've tried googling the problem, but the only results I can get are about the monitor's "Deep Sleep Mode" that people complain about. I don't think this is about that, though, since I've already disabled it.

Never mind; it turned out to be unrelated to the monitor. Updating my geforce driver appears to have fixed it. Thanks anyway!

* To what computer model is the S2716DG attached?
* What operating system is installed on the computer?
* What video card/GPU is installed in the computer?
* What video OUT ports are available on the video card/GPU?
* List all cables and adapters attached to the computer and S2716DG and the ports they are using. For example =
Computer video card GTX 1080 DP out port --> S2716DG DP to DP cable --> S2716DG DP in port
S2716DG USB upstream port --> USB to USB cable --> Computer USB in port
* What Windows power plan? Example = High performance, PCI-e Link State Off
* Test the S2716DG on another computer. Does the issue follow the S2716DG to that other computer?

*It's attached to a cutsom pc. The cpu is a ryzen 5 1600x.

*The OS is Windows 10 Home

*GPU is an MSI GTX 1070Ti Titanium

*GPU has 3 DP, 1 HDMI, 1 DVI-D

*Connections:

GTX 1070Ti -> S2716DGR DP to DP cable -> S2716DGR DP in Port

GTX 1070Ti -> DVI-D to DVI-D cable - Acer - G246HLAbd in DVI-D port

GTX 1070Ti -> HDMI to HDMI -> Vizio 40" Television

* My power plan was on "Balanced", but I had modified the settings so that the screen would take 45 minutes to turn off, and the pc would never go to sleep. The computer never showed this behavior before I got the S2716DGR.

* As I recall, the monitor did not have this difficulty when I plugged it into my laptop, although I could only connect it via the hdmi cable.

* Turn the computer, both monitors and TV off
* Disconnect the TV HDMI cable from the GTX 1070Ti
* Disconnect the Acer DVI cable from the GTX 1070Ti
* Turn the S2716DGR on
* Turn the computer on
* Retest. Any change in the issue?
