Laptop won't get past Dell splash screen. (Inspiron 15-7559)

Question

Around the beginning of July last year, I bought a Dell Inspiron 15-7559 and it worked perfectly. About one year later, July of this year, the laptop started getting an issue where it would shut down after playing a game that uses the GPU for 5 minutes, but when I used the integrated graphics, it didn't shut down at all.Then about a month ago, the Laptop's issue got worse. When you press the power button, it would turn on for a second, turn off again, it would stay off for about 5 seconds, then it would turn on again, show the dell splash screen and when that's finished loading, the laptop would shut down again and not attempt to turn back on. For the next 5 minutes after that, if I try to turn it on, nothing happens when pressing the power button. After the five or so minutes, when trying to turn it on again, it just does the same thing.

Windows 10 is on the system? The computer shut down on AC adapter power or battery ? How old is the computer ? There's still warranty on the system?

Just making sure you're performing the steps for diagnostic correctly:

1. Power off system. Remove all peripherals ( except AC adapter)

2. Power on system, quickly start tapping F12 key continuously until you see Preparing one time boot menu in the top right corner of the screen. In the boot menu, select diagnostic. After quick tests, select hard drive, and then Thorough Test Mode.

Windows 10 is on the system yes. The computer shuts down on both AC adapter power and battery. The  computer is a year and a half old. As far as I remember there is no warranty on the system.

Yep, that's how I've been trying to do it, but the laptop shuts down before it gets to do it's diagnostics. Sometimes it shuts down before getting to the one time boot menu.
