Inspiron 7359 2-in-1, BIOS 1.17.0, breaks Conexant audio
Just a heads up. It seems Dell's repeated problems with BIOS updates breaking audio continue. I updated to 1.17.0, no audio. Reverted to 1.16.0, audio is back. <deleted attacking statements>.

Thank you for letting us know about the bios causing the system to lose sound. I will forward this post to our engineers.

can someone help me with this. I was having monitor/display problems until I update the bios to 1.17. Today I woke to no sound. Unlike the above, I do not want to roll back to 1.16 and monitor issues.
The two drivers that show in device mgr are the Conexant and an Intel Display audio. I received the following message with diagnostics: "Problem Found Generic Audio driver" with yellow caution symbol. I have no idea what to do next. any response appreciated.
